....VW dealers vary enormously - Mine will do almost anything I ask them if they feel they can do it well and without overcharging me.

Ray West both advised and later fitted my suspension and insisted on doing a laser alignment check after the suspension had settled. I'd be a total fool not to take the advice of someone who is so experienced.

I can't believe they agreed to do it. Whenever I go in they always tell me " we've never done one of those before, so it might not work. Oh and it'll be expensive"

If a main dealer can't change some springs and align them then there's something wrong... Yes main dealers sometimes cock-up but they always get it sorted in the end, but thats the start of another thread... LOL

I know what you mean, but priory park wouldn't do armrest, "vents don't work when we do it" and £900 so didi it myself.

Wouldn't do highline, claimed they couldn't code new clocks, couldn't explain how they changed clusters when damaged or broken, wouldn't do MFSW.

I gave up and am going to polish the puppy with a soon to be aquired g220 instead.

I've not had any problem with this car before or after lowering - the Leon Cupra R, now when I had that my god it was a problem - i got through 3 front splitters and that was only because I put up with a marked one for so long inbetween each one.
