S4 Engine in to Mk2 golf

1. the S4 engine could be sold at a profit, if it's unfittable.

2. Can't you stick a supercharger on the valver engine?

maybe, but it would probably cost the same as putting the whole g60 engine on there.

so im gonna go the whole hogg and get the g60!

Well currently the project is doing not much! ive got the engine in my garage but funding is the problem at the mo, just walked out of my job! so it might be a month or to before i can get it goin again. this guy whos doin your swap, can u let me know if hes any good? cos peole iv asked so far to do this one have all said f**k off! oh and

Had a go in the 106 featured on their site a few nights back and boy is it fast! The owner is very impressed with their work and from what I could see the conversion has been carried out ot the highest of standards

I have spoke to a few people about the 1.8 20 v turbo conversion and the best person i reckon most suited was andy waters  www.awtracksport.com             01507 522242

He quoted me ?2000 to fit it and he said his quote is what he charges if somthing goes wrong he wil sort it out hes done the conversion before and has a dual charged (turbo and super charged) space framed mk2. he said he would need the car for 2 weeks tops drive in drive out and it would be rolling out with 240 horse approx he would rolling road it in the price to test power e.t.c.

what would you have to provide apart from the engine?
that sounds alot more realistic than the 7k quoted to me by c and r to fit a g60 into my mk2!

i rang supergolfs and they quoted me 5k and my beauty would go to germany

dont kno if i could be arsed with that,

ill give this guy a ring and see what he is saying. g60!
