ohhhhhhh, that would be very nice indeed mate! ;)

you would have to make your mk2 4 wheel drive wouldnt you mate?

and that would meen spending some serious money on in!

but 700 quid for the s4 engine is an absolute steal!!

snap there hand off at that price mate, bargain.

i got quoted 1200 for a g60 engine!

It won't fit without major surgery to the body of the car.
Thats why vw made the 15 degree V with a single head, to fit in a golf.

You will have to put in it inline with the chassis, the same as they put them in the Audi.

No, the engine is in the front, but inline not transverse like in golfs.
ie. look under the bonnet and the audi engine has the gearbox at the back, on a golf the gearbox is on the right.

Yeah will have to be a blank cheque.
Will probably cost thousands to get the car sorted.
Bloody good if you can afford it.

too much power through the front wheels if you ask me. pop it in the back with it connected to the rear.... and buy a mk1 ;D

bloody good money if the engine is decent though. I can' t see it going under the bonnet without a lot of work though.
