ABS Light question
« on: 16 May 2008, 09:07 »
Hi guys

I realised the abs light on my golf had been disconnected because when turn ignition on nothing showed

Had a little play yesterday and plugged all back together and hey presto light came on and stayed on.

But the handbrake light also came on and stayed on? is this related to the abs? or another problem?

Im hoping its just the sensors and nothing else.

Handbrake warning light will stay on constant with the ABS light to show multiple faults with the system, probably both rear sensors gone

vag com will tell you what sensors are not giving a signal. can be picked up cheap enough and fitted easily... there is a guide on here i believe
