Just for info, did see these as well, rung up and was told anything up to 2weeks to get plus that price is plus vat and carriage (£235 all in I think) also this is a old model now, I went for the hottuning coilovers in the end, at lease you can pick how low you want it, if you fit a lowering kit and not happy with the drop you have got to change springs again etc.

Thanks for that mate, will have to have another look around then, not keen on the coilovers as its a daily driver and dont want to drop too much as I wont be able to get on my drive

The min is around 40 I believe down to around 110 so you could set them highish.

Yeah Euro sell Bilstein stuff, as for the hottuning coilies, they're good for the money, I've got em on mine, and they're excellent value for money, and you get 2 years warranty but I do 25,000 miles a year in my Golf and the hard ride is getting a bit tiring....but I'm also getting old...

Bilstein streetline shocks worry me a little.

This is based on my knowledge of 205's the fronts are good stuff, but the rears are as arse as arse can be - supposed to give a very wobbly ride that can snap on you very quickly.

I'd be interested to hear how they feel on the heavier golf as i'm looking for replacement rears at the moment propbaly just going to put on gsf/eurocarparts stuff, but could be tempted to go Billie all round if reports are good.

Had a few teething probloems fitting mine so bro in law (qualified mechanic) is fitting them tuesday. Anything would be an improvement on the handling that I have at the moment as the rear skips out on me all the time and handling round corners is crap.

I will let you know over the next week or so how the handling has changed and what a difference it has made.
