Opening of front windows via key fob
« on: 12 May 2008, 06:19 »
When I do this by holding down the unlock / lock button respectively, only the drivers window goes down / up...  i swear when I first did this when I got the car that both windows would sync together.

What do your windows do?!

Thanks all. Chris.

I can open all my windows with the "open door" button if I hold it down long enough, and close all the windows by holding down the "lock door button", and again holding it down.

You can turn this on with VagCom, I think its under "convenience module" or similar.

u need to conf the pass window.

open the window so its all the way down, release button then push  down again for a few seconds... then hold the button up so the window shuts. then hold the button up for a few seconds. now the window should auto go all the way up or down when you push the button all the way up or down or key.

I tried this today and it works on mine, hold down the unlock button when unlocking the car and the windows go down, not tried the hold down lock and windows go up, pretty good idea and quite handy, especially with this heat we have the moment :)
