so goes to clean my wheels today; what harm can that do?

well not sure but it looks like either the strut cap or top mount (they the same) has decided it likes the spring very much and is resting against it    get a loud twanging noise when turning and the sound of something loose when going over bumps.  frightened the life out of me when it first went bang!

Car still feels fine to drive though so hopefully Alan in work can have a look tomorrow.

I won't be taking my wheels off to clean them again!!

hope so bud - can't really afford major problems!! car is due for the clutch on Thursday so i'm hoping this will be a cheap fix!! going into work early tomorrow for Alan to have a look at so fingers and depending whats needed i'm hoping to have her fighting fit for Tuesday

i quite like that boring part though 

father in law thought the spring had snapped - wouldn't have been too bothered - would have got lowering springs 

just hope i make it to work now lol
