yeah - but just rang GSF - £32 and they are in stock - hope to be back on the road tonight

if it was more expensive i would have gone for the lowering springs but as its that cheap and i can get free fitting i wont bother at this time

so was it actually the suspension spring thats went?

yeah the spring snapped right at the top - i'll get a pic once its off

worked out ok in that Alan is an ex-Land Rover fitter and another engineer has a job down in Cardiff about 2 minutes from GSF so i've sent him to pick it up 

fingers crossed i'll be back on the road this afternoon
