PLEASE HELP! I've f**ked up my car!

nooooo shady, what happened!!! minor set back, we'll be cruisin soon. Got my wiring kit today and going to wire in my system 2moro. Got a m8 whos gunna help me, he loves putting them in, so ideal cause he is good and costs me nothing!

Shady m8, if you are cruisin near plymouth soon, give me a shout. Ill ask my friend 2moro if he can help. Problem is he is never bloody available - what a let down.

I'm feeling your pain, sucks when it goes badly wrong, makes you feel sick!

sounds like u got front and rear speakers wired wrong way round too

Nelds...I don't know how I could have done that because I have the speaker wire running from the front speaker terminals to the input on the crossovers, each one going to the left and the same to the right.

4. My front speakers seem to be recognised as the rear speakers not the front.

Have you checked the fuse in the Amp wiring? My amp positive has its own fuse.

IT'S ALL OK!!!

Thank God LOL!

I checked all the fuses and one had blown which was for the lights, the clocks and central locking. Replaced that and it all works fine.

In regards to the amp, I made a complete noob error.

The RCA cable supplied I plugged into the rear RCA output of the headunit, so that's why it thought my speakers were the rear ones, and the reason the sub wasn't working properly was because I needed an RCA cable for that to goto the amp.

It's all sorted now though.

LL - It sounds the shizzle! I have Infinity Kappa components at the front, a 4 channel JBL amp and a 12" JBL GTO sub, and it all sounds so clear even at really high volume. I will be deaf by the summer I think lol!

I have a few places where it rattles, and I think a couple have nuts or something have fallen down behind the rear lights so when it's on loud you can hear them rattling, but it should be easy enough to sort out.

The amp has a nice white glow to it in the dark as well! Looks sexy lol!
