Fitting a sharks fin ariel ?

As title, is is hard, i know it must involve removing the roof lining, but is there a connector to join up the cable etc , anyone got a pic of a genuine one fitted ?

ps i saw this on ebay but it looks HUGE

if I was you I would go for the 08 model year combined sharks fin and ariel, VW must of changed it for a reason and I think its because radio reception is not as good with just a sharks fin.

I have this fin on my car...its not that bad  I quite like it and so do other people as they have tried knicking it off my car....

I fitted a shark fin the day I got my car...
I ordered it from ebay - and had to chop the connector off the original and solder it onto the new one.
FM works perfectly - but I get NO AM whatsoever.
If I hadnt cut the original off I would swap them back.  The fin looks better, but I miss AM for the footy
