The DIY chips off ebay are not worth buying (Blitzchip/Powerchip)

You need to go somewhere like AMD or Stealth to get a remap/chip. This should give you up to 175bhp approx

Even Vince couldn't manage 175bhp!

There isn't much more you can do to the valver to get real gains apart from the boosted route. Ported and polished head is pointless as the ABF is a good flowing head as standard

well an exhaust adds no more than 5, so that's 20 from a remap from a N/A engine?

although a lot of valver's produce more than standard once they get to 100k and are run in a bit....

cams are also pretty useless on the ABF unless you have the rest setup to match

agreed - cams don't do a lot - it already produces its power very high up (essentially a higher lift cam only really changes where in the rev range an engine will make its power, doesn't really add power)

Once I have sorted the handling etc, my list of things to get engine wise will be

New manifold
full stainless
K and N panel filter in standard box
remap
lightened and balanced flywheel
balanced crank

possible management change
