My parents run a sign company so had a play this afternoon - picture doesn't really do it justice with the reflections in the photo.  Its done in metallic graphite grey vinyl with the red smile - I'd say this is pretty much a minimum size it could be done, the smile is like a hair - You would have to thicken up the lines to go any smaller. 

What do you think?

Looks good mate. However, on the pic the grey looks as if it has a grainey affect going on. I think white will look better after all on a black car. And i'd probably scale it up by 0.2 aswell.

just had a bit of spare time so ran off some of the fast decals to go around the GTI badge

they are 35mm by 28mm

How about a black creature with a grey mouth, not sure if the red mouth would show on the red car? Either way they do look good.
