Im sure it would work in die cut. Just means when it comes to washing - more care will be needed around that area
What would be even better is if it was a proper badge made from steel that we stick on

well yes, you would not be able to go anywhere near it, which could making washing impossible near your badge

this vinyl does stick pretty well once the surface has been prepped properly with degreaser and take a bit of getting off

Aye.
So you know what im after gttdi (for both the fast creature and the gti text on the silver metal strip)
Let me know what you can do.

I had a Nurburgring sticker that lasted 18 months of washes without a problem, including the Nurburgring wording very small single letters.
Once waxxed over it was ok, and a bugger to get off when i sold the car.

gttdi, I'd probably be interested in a rear sticker to go over the GTI badge too. What do we think colour wise would look best on a black car?

Cheers

I think they look pretty cool too and would like one, but I have already paid for mine now!
I think it has to be white and red on a black car!

a dark grey (almost a dull black) with a red smile would look ok too on a black car.

"a dark grey (almost a dull black) with a red smile would look ok too on a black car. "

Like this you mean:

My parents run a sign company so had a play this afternoon - picture doesn't really do it justice with the reflections in the photo.  Its done in metallic graphite grey vinyl with the red smile - I'd say this is pretty much a minimum size it could be done, the smile is like a hair - You would have to thicken up the lines to go any smaller.

What do you think?
