im depressed... girlfriend of 4 years left me ...that isnt the worse thing ... driving up to hull to watch palace v hull and driving along on m11 my fan belt snaps look at the dash temp is high and battery light on by the time ive had a think white smoke comes out and the head is blown 35mm has been skimmed already.... i have two golfs the one im talking about with kent cam and a norm gti which someone crashed into the rear quater and bent the pillar slightly... would putting the engine in the busted head one b better or trying to fix it.... any help appreciated also someone mentioned i could of warped the cam?? my life is getting better

Bad luck on the GF front. Know how you feel. Its 'orrible.
Back to the car. Do the engine swap to get you back on the road, then assess the cam in the damaged engine by doing a run out check on it. I very much doubt it is bent, but if it is bent, it will not rotate once its fitted to the decent head.

My advice is give up watching football - it's clearly diverting you from real issues, such as looking after your car, or your woman.

Once you've kicked that nasty little habit you'll have a much better life - not only will you be able to get to meet up with women as your car won't break down, but you'll have Saturdays free to spend taking care of any new girl, or working on your car, which will mark you out as a real man and make you far more interesting to the right sort of women.

You know it makes sense.

lol yeah im glad i didnt make it to hull. na wernt that much of a nasty split  anyway bk to the car is there a possibility that if i swap the engines over and then put the cam in it would be alrite the engine i would swap over is a bit tapperty thou until warm up....... and could someone tell me the code for the lil white clips that holds on the side trim managed to knock it off the car while pushing it behind the other one. then snapped a couple trying to put it bk on while angry. swapping over the engine im gussing that the only real cost would be labour in a garage ? or would they need new things? i would of attempted it myself but im moving in with my bruv and there isnt really any were to store it.
