Fault Found
« on: 22 April 2008, 21:40 »

Noticed at Revo today have the following Fault found on vagcom -

000665 - Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached

Sounds like split DV valves from here  - http://forums.fourtitude.com/zerothread?id=3366758&page=1

Just wondering if anyone else has had the fault and how easy a new DV is to fit,

Any help would be great,

Rob

Rob-MK5 i had this fault on my car when i went to get Revo and 3 weeks before had a forge d.v fitted so it was'nt a split d.v,just trying to find time to book it into VW to get it looked at.

I thought mine was running well, ive not put Revo on yet ( have Select ) as want to get this resolved first,

Mine's running fine and had the d.v checked its ok, but have to get the fault sorted before revo goes back on.

Did you get the fault cleared, if not it could have been an existing fault from before you had the forge DV fitted, i.e. your original DV was goosed, so it could be a stored fault code.

Curious to know as well, how easy to remove and check? I've got the feeling I've lost a few horses as well.

Its was £28 + well worth checking as its a supposed to be a common fault,

You will need to car ideally on a ramp and remove the undertray bit of a fiddley job,
