Meguairs "Hot Rims" to clean the wheels, then Klasse all in one follwed by Klass Sealant should do the job. I had the same type of little spots in a few places, now gone!

The Hots Rims to clean the brake dust off, the all in one to remove stubborn "stuck on " bits like stubborn tar, and the sealant to give a decent glaze and seal the wheels making the next time clean a hell of a lot easier. Brake dusts comes off really easily.

Give it a try and post some feedback

i use Meguiars wheel brightener to clean mine, spray it on and agitate with a brush, best thing is to not let it ingrain itself by doing them more often (im assuming there some brake dust too)

is the all in one a wax?
It doesn't seal as well as the sealant, but does clean well. I see it as a clean and prep solution. The Klasse sealant really does a good job, making future cleaning a doddle! I use the sealant on top of waxing the car, as a final step.  Easy on, easy off!
