Hang on, are you really both saying that you don't know where your cd changers are? :undecided: :undecided:

I presume you both have Mk4 Golfs? If so, it is either in the boot behind the left hand side trim panel, or an in dash one which is under the radio. If it is an in dash one, I suspect you may have seen it by now.

If this is a wind up, then you got me to bite, but I'll try my best to be helpfull anyway.

If your CD players has 6 buttons across the bottom numbered 1-6 funnily enough, you have a 6 cd changer. Press Load and feed the disc into the slot and it'll put it in the next available space. If all 6 red lights are on, it will be full.

If you don't have the 6 buttons you will have a single player, which as you may well have guessed by now will only play 1 disc.

Ok this is my dilemma, it’s the 1 slot on the dash, ok but I ve been thought the manual and when i press the select button it come up with the message on the screen what you would get if its got one wired up but cant find it, there are messages that pop up ifs its not, and I am not getting them messages.

Like No Magazine

Hope this isn’t me just being stupid . . . . Well wouldn’t be the 1st time and wont be the last time.

Right, now it is becoming a bit clearer.

Sounds like you have a single player in the dash. It is possible to hang a boot mounted change off the back of these, and pressing the select button on the cd player switches between the either "cd in" or "cd changer".

If you have a changer in the boot, when you press the select button, a red light should appear telling you which one is selected.

As said before, the boot changer is behind the left hand side trim panel. Slide the front open and press the eject button. That should eject the magazine.

Have a look and tell us what you find. If there is no magazine in the changer, then there will be umpteen on ebay.
