just back from awesome and my car is AWESOME!!

Right as a few of you may know my car ran a crappy 200.09bhp last week at awesome's rolling road. it was noticable to people observing that there was somthing wrong as it sounded like something was leeking, well it was!! i fitted my forge DV valve about 4 months ago and had mounted the solenoid in the wrong place, which had caused the piping to split!! so was loosing nearly half my boost pressure.

before i went to awesome yesterday my car was running 10psi, now with new pipes it running 18psi!!! WHOOOO. I also got the coilovers set to the same height as their mk5 gti  and wheels aligned. took 4 1/2 hours and cost me 200 quid but well worth it as they treat your car like one of their own.

i didnt get to put it back on the rollers but anyone fancy another RR day

Nice 1, glad its all sorted, we thought we could hear a boost leak when it was on the rollers.

You can kinda tell from the Awesome video it doesnt sound great and it struggles top end - which loosing that much pressure I am not suprised - its like asking you to blow up a balloon with a hole in it !

it really is unreal how much different it reels, it feels like theirs no turbo lag whats so ever now and couldnt believe how fast it shot to 140 on my way home last night (pulling into my drive ) i also took my mums boyfriend out who normally drives her M3 and he was speachless (esp was off) he couldnt believe how well it put the power on the road after the coilovers and roll bars are on. I now need another RR day, id say its about 260-270 but need proof

what does the forge dv valve do?

the gti has a recirculation valve which basically recycles the air instead of "dumping"/valve it?

i heard you can get a forge valve that dont do anything but make noise and cause long term problems

also on there website there is a more expensive version thats suppose to be like the standard one but with a louder noise is that what youve got??

i can hear mine from 3rd-4th very slightly sounds cool would be even better if it was a little louder

i used 2have one on my mk4 golf but it jus made a noise and gave bigger turbo lag:(
