That's a different type of DV valve as used on the 1.8T and such like that yout talking about, the Tfsi engine uses an solenoid controlled valve which also forms part of the traction control system. The forge replacement DV for the Tfsi is preventive mod to replace the standard item which is known to give problems when running higher boost, although it seems mainly the regular GTi that its a problem on. This could be down to its hot location bolted directly to the turbo

If you can afford it I would change it for piece of mind, I have had one on mine since they were released and I have had no problems at all.

A exhaust system will just help it Rev better, if your going for a full system and filter you may as well get Stage 2 software surely to make the most of it...

Which remap are you referring to - just APR?

yes im goin for the apr..
ive ben looking into remaps for ages and decided apr was the best.. they even work with vw tuners so they gotta be good.

i think its an extra 50-65 bhp?

can just about afford that and the cruie control unit total £650 without fitting

guess the intake and exhaust can wait a little longer

hey also i didnt know the gtis are not 200 but 195bhp so stated in the dyno results seen.

Dyno results are only an indication - hence the term "dyno lottery", also every car is different.

For a stage 1 remap realistically I would say expect 240-245.  Dont worry about figures, drive it and you will tell the difference and it will give you more smiles per mile
