Installation takes about 15mins.
Cost £1000 EBAY

I had one but sold it as i didnt think the price reflects what it can do, a memory card slot and a flashy new interface.

the touch screen become very dirty as ud expect and i felt i was pushing a little to hard on the screen not enough pressure and it wont respond, also no street names is annoying plus i didnt have the multifunction stering wheel or highline computer so couldnt benefit from all its features

i think there are 2 versions available in the mfd3 rns 1 with updated softwear

anyway i sold it for £950 i got the mfd2 dvd for £400... I just didnt think it was worth the extra £600

182blue: ull love it if you have the mfs and highline computer you can connect your mobile and even stores old dialed numbers everything displays on the highline display aswell plus  just ashame i havnt got the highline of mfs or id kept it.

So this has a integrated bluetooth phone thingy?

I could be tempted but its a lot for a grand when it still doesnt do full postcode search.  The Pioneer touch screen unit (d3 I think it is) would be much better for the money.

thats the worst thing about the RNS510 imho...
the rotating power symbol! :(

It should stay up the right way and the knob rotate around it.

Fully agree, its attention to detail that makes all the difference.

Took the words right out of my mouth

I actually refrain from using the volume control on the 510, just use the buttons on my steering wheel instead, so as not to destroy the image ..
