Distributor Help!

I have broken a clip off my Beru distributor on my 8v GTi Mk2!  Does anyone know where I can get a new clip or how to remove the distributor?  If I can only get hold of a different make distributor will the connections be the same.

The metal clip is not the screw on type!

For removing you can use this which someone kindly hosts;

If you ring GSF or ECP and give them your car details they'll send you out an appropriate replacement.
