power roar induction pipe

get a decent panel filter and drill some descret holes in the lower half of the airbox on the wing side... induction noise there you go... unless im missing the point?

all these power roar induction pipes do is look good cos there chromed or anodised. They dont help any performance, for looks, yeah buy it, but if your looking for induction noise, your better off drilling the airbox and spending your money on a K&N panel filter rather than a chrome pipe.

i cant say too much, im one for clean and original. i guess if the rest of your engine has some bling then it helps.. like resoviours chrome, painted bay/rocker cover, ect.. but if its a dirty standard engine then i dont see the point im afraid?

im not after "induction noise" as i have a massive K&N on the car along with a really nice sounding exhaust



i want it to start to dress the engine more than anything as i dont really like the boring black pipe, im also after a hole new hole set but thats when iv got more moeny

wish it was that simple as all the seller are saying the will only fit the k-jet 16v engines not the 8v digi ones, so i need to sorta make one, but need to get my head around it all lol

looks like you want a 45 degree bend mate. the OD you need will be the same as the induction (air box) end. you will have to leave a few inches of rubber hose on the throttle body side on tho, as its oval which wont match up to the new pipe!

yeah i was thinking the same thing about the TB end, either that or see if i can get a ovel to round silicone joint

even if you could, it waill be pricey.

plus you'd need oval -> round and i dont think anyone does that...
