Any ideas on this problem ?
My car had been off the road for 4 years, during which time I changed the clutch (amongst other things) but hadn't driven it much.
When I put it back on the road in December I was getting a bit of clutch slip - I pu this down to 1. Lack of use (sticky cables) and 2. Newness of the clutch which I hoped would burn off. After a few good hard runs the slipping went away and I thought everything was hunky dory.
Now 4 months on the clutch slip has come back but is worse than before. I have:
1. Removed, lubricated and refited the clutch cable (manual adjust)
2. Greased the pedal box linkages
3. Checked the arm on the outside of the gearbox isn't sticking
All without success in curing the slip. I am now fairly reserved to the fact that the clutch is being contaminated (the engine to gearbox oil seal went about 6 years ago and I replaced it so I guess its not impossible).
Any ideas on possible causes and any bits that I should replace if I need to take the box out again

My arms are still recovering from the last time.
