Got mine done at a VW Specialist for £90 I think (?!)

Either way they replaced the sticker up & to the right of the drivers side headlight (under the bonnet) to say when it was replaced & the mileage. If yours has been done at a garage they may have done the same??

I will look for this, is this near where the air box would be?

I am defo guna get it done unless i can prove it was done, as pistons on my valves at 5000rpm is not a good look for me, lol

I charge £20 if i get a cupa tea and a biscuit but £100-£150 is to be expected.  Why dont you do it your self?  its a nice easy one
