Sizes for Golf MK3 GTI

Was wondering whats the sizes of the speakers for the golf mk3 gti and how it is to change them???

can i add...if your using the original speaker grille 165mm are better and you will need slim speakers.. i have some deep 170mm jbl and cant fit the grilles!
