Ordered my lovely headlights today from that nice man on our forum, Stuart Tunstall.

I phoned my nice insurance company... and said

HEADLIGHTS... i wanna change my HEADLIGHTS

to which they replied.

"Rally lights? Spot lights???

NO HEADLIGHTS

Rally Lights??? Spots lights sir?

NO HEADLIGHTS

... 10mins it took me... TEN minutes... my headlights are now covered as SPOT LIGHTS/RALLY LIGHTS!!... Im guessing this'll cover my smoked fogs/indicators too ...

Youve foned your insurance company to tell them you have changed your lights  , no wonder they didnt have a catagotry for it. My insurance company arent arsed as long as its not performance parts

if its a modification then ya gotta tell em.

I dont want sum tosser in a Corsa crashing into me and my insurance being void cos i didnt declare a "none standard" part.

clucking bell! good old elephant.co.uk for me, tick a few boxes for mods and all covered. the insurance only covers making the car back to standard but legally all the mods are ok. fair enough i reckon for the excellent price they did me

but headlights are not listed on their website as a mod... so they had to go down as Rally/Spot lights LOL
