Oh and plans have changed after getting f**ked over by the unit we were using..

Now we have my mates actual works, with a proper booth and everything, so it's getting 4 or 5 coats saturday morning and baking over night, mopped on sunday and back on road

mine went into the shop to start on the prep, almost finished it all, if we had carried on yesterday it would have been completed.. but instead going to block sand the filler skim off on the sill where someone tried to jack it up, after it was stud and pulled..

all the lil dings dents anything like that have had a touch of filler skimmed and flatted, all paint is flat..

need to prime the sunny panel.. finish the sill, stonechip the inside lip of the rear arches after a tiny bit of corrosion removal, and jsut do a couple of tiny dings that havent taken a bit of a skim yet..

paint starts saturday with the roof, tailgate and bonnet off..

finished sunday then baked

back monday polished i hope, pre rebuild..

then jsut gotta get the proper bumper and trim paint onto the strips and bumper.. all in time for spring fest

all that and its not even a gti

Get away you bloody somerset bumpkin

It's all aobut progression.

The shell was 100% solid. So this get's done now and it looks nice, then I can move onto other elements, brining them up to scratch.. oh and Speed you see

was only kidding  i wish mine was as tidy...

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Yeah i know amte but just wanted to prove a point - the fact that somerset is bumpkin country

haha nah just kidding, you saw mine at volksfest didnt you? the odd shades of some panel where the white match was rubbbbbish.. that was getting to me, and then had some damage recently which really pissed me off as i didnt know where it came from so i decided to bite the bullet and go ahead with it, knowing that it was a perfect base for it

And mine was never this tidy, as my project page shows.. its taken a LOT of effort  :nerd:

p.s. come to a bristol meet sometime!!
