cheers. its not caged yet but we had a bit of a mishap on track on wednesday and now a cage is on the to do list. trouble is they are so expensive.

if i were in your position i'd uprate braged to the 16valve ones you were offered for 60 quid. thats a fair price. i dont think pads etc will cost you any extra.

sounds like your car is on the right track as it is.  theres probably still weight to come off it though - theres a lot of sound proofing hidden behind the dash.in our last car we took the heater out too but have left it in this one - like yours, ours is road legal too and it got too cold!

we are happy running our car fairly standard. if something breaks and there is a better part available for reasonable money we'll upgrade. the only thing our car needs is more power (money!) and better drivers

Good idea on the group buy but i'm skinted for a bit!

poly bushes were all on the car when i bought it so cant comment i'm afraid!

anything which ducts air to the brakes will be effective. the current car doesnt have anything yet but the fogs are coming out and i'll be putting something in there.

the last car was a small bumper model. we used a 50 ish mm hole cutter and cut through it, inserted ducting and pointed the other end at the brakes. dont know how effective it was (it must have done something) but it looked propper hard!

Your not the only one , but it wouldnt hurt to make some enquiries see how many people we would need and what kind of discount we would be looking at

custom cages is probably a better bet , it manufacturers them so there isnt as big a mark up on them i dont think - 6 points are about 280 give or take i think ??
