Turbo / supercharger?

Hey all. Ive got a mk2 golf 1.8 8v gti but its just a baby tuned to 150bhp and like any true petrol head I want more lol 
Now ive heard that theres a supercharger kit available, is this true if so any one know where i can get one please?
Also is there a turbo kit out there?

You can get a supercharger kit from G-werks. It aint cheap though

Was told by a mate they are available from a german company for £150 for the kit to fit your self!
Any one heard of this?

sounds like one of those electric supercharger nonsense things

cheapest way would be a straight G60 swap

sorry to sound thick. Whats a g60? is it turbo? What bhp is it?

G60 (or G-lader) is the 1.8litre 8v Supercharged engine as found in the mk2 golf G60 ,Corrado and Golf Rallye 88-91 ish vintage 160bhp as standard simple chip and smaller charger pulley for another 30bhp or so power hike..not a bad engine but charger is weak point needing a re-build ever 60k or so miles other wise they can go pop..

yeah but if you're tuned to 150bhp your ecu will have been tweaked already surely

nah speaking to the bloke who done it (previous owner)
Just got straight through stainless exhaust, cam shaft + followers, Induction kit.
I will double check with him but im pretty sure it hasnt.
You wouldnt happen to know somewhere where i could get it done and maybe a ball park figure please chap?

150BHP imo is good for a 8v, hope he gave you a proof of the 150BHP though. If you have the time/money (£3000) get a 1.8 20VT and throw in a Supercharger too!
