thats not a uk astra sri im sure of it, the only one that has simular performance is the one that cant handle round corners, forgot what its called............... oh yeah  "the chaos theory" vxr astra  designed not for the family in mind with lack of doors option.

VXR handles just fine.

If you batter a vxr and gti along the same stretch of back road the gti will always come out top all down to a better chassis.

Yeh, the vxr is quicker around the TopGear track, much quicker around the Ring, but show it a stretch of back road and the GTI will murder it

VXR is not a track focused car!! Dont be fooled by the advertising! It understeers like a girl... Great for sales reps blasting up and down the country, they can chuck all their crap inthe back and not have to worry about rattles as the whole thing rattles anyway.

Enough said

You will find a few golfs with rattles. Thankfully mine isnt one of them. I went to go see a VXR and it has the rattle option pre-ticked on  the options booklet. They are so confident about the poor quality of their interior... they give you a free rattle if it doesnt!

You'll find a few rattles in some vxr's. Thankfully mine isn't one of them either.

I went to see a R32, but was soooo disappointed that a 3.2ltr V6 with 4wd costing £8k more, was marginally
quicker than a 2ltr fwd Astra!!!

If I would have bought one, I would have had to spend half my time justifying why I did on car forums!
Sod that

3 sec round a small track is hardly marginally quicker. The only way an astra would keep up with an R32 is on a dead straight. In the wet if i was to look back for the astra I probably wouldnt be able to see it... Thats why I paid 8k more, and worth every penny :smug:

Call it a draw then

No good cheating and adding extra points.
You don't want points deducted again before you've even kicked a ball, surely
