I have searched and saved for 6 months and now I am going down to a dealer to check out a GTI. Its a bit of a trek but all paperwork's been sorted and ready to go, all I gotta do is test drive and give a yay or nay (unlikely unless it rattles) haha 

 

I am well chuffed!!

  yea I forgot to say.

07 Ed 30 3dr, reflex silver, manual, xennons, 6cd multi, lux pk, 2k on the clock

price will be 19,800 but hopefully I will be able to haggle him down a wee bit because of Darling's green tax's in the budget, and it doesnt have cruise cont (i am gonna get it retro fitted at awsome gti).

I have calmed down a bit now haha.

hahah deffo. Best thing is that if I get it, then the drive home will be sheffield to liverpool via snake pass (maybe a couple of times over hahaha )

Check out your dealer for the cruise, it may be cheaper. The dealer fitted price inc VAT is £150

i think the local dealers use awsome to retro fit the cruise but the price I was quoted was a 150 also, maybe it's seems standard. Also gonna get it remapped with a few other bits n bobs after a couple of thousand miles.
