Hi nick

I already have a fantastic custom
Made Downpipe and no cat at all, it's basically straight through from turbo

I just need the manifold

The TIP at the moment is a 80mm silicone that
Reduces down to the turbo has no name on it

I'll be interested to see the results tho. I'm well aware
The standard manifold is a bad design

Speak to simon at Ecotech Wrexham and get him to do you a deal on the full body 80mm SFS tip, tell him Nick says do it at cost in the name of R&D..

Cheers mate

Nice to meet you ;-)

Next small update will be the fitting of MK4 aluminum rear brake calipers which I'll finally get round to fitting once my custom made hoses arrive ( different fitment to mk3 set up) ;/)

did you bed them in as per ebc instructions?

I found those pads to be pretty wank tbh, maybe I had a duff set

pads are absolutely awesome, very very strong.. will only ever use these fro now onwards

I have upgraded all the lines and using good quality discs too, so yeah really happy mate

Other news ill have a bigger update coming towards the end of the month as I'm having my other MK4. 02J gearbox rebuilt, every bearing, gasket, seal, fork and syncro is getting replaced (basically gonna come back as a new box)

as said earlier in the thread, its a EMR code box with same ratio as my current DPA mk3 16v box however the final drive is way shorter so I'm gonna swap that out for a VR6 one

Also have the TT short shif and MK4 golf linkages

and the jewel in the crown with be this bad boy (which came in at £1000 with the ARP bolts  )  but for me this is a very integral part of the cars performance

anyhow after hours and hours of research into all the brands on offer, and speaking to people who have had Experience of the 2 i was interested in both back to back (the other brand was Quaiffe), their was one clear winner thats superior to anything else on the market

Thus, here is what arrived the other day

WAVETRAC Limited slip diff

here i the info on why these are way ahead of any other brand...

http://www.wavetrac.net/technical.htm

Hotgolf (from clubGTI forum fame) is doing the rebuild and install, plus we are adding a lightened and balanced Flywheel

more updates soon
