i would mate yeah.. i checked it all and its all ok apart from my VR6 splitter has taken some damage, and is split (was a weak spot after all the abuse it has had it was already damaged to the underside where you couldn't see)..
was unlucky to have had to hit it, the vision i got out my rear window was not a pretty sight at all....

I know how you feel, I had an incident many years ago like yours, no where to move over and hit a dog. It was several dogs running out the pikey site in thamesmead on there own and I hit one, remember the dog fluff around my alloys.

Not good mate is it... I have not dared to look under the car yet. Double checked all the bodywork and all is good apart from the splitter. I'll get a pic later

Sounds like you came off OK compared to the fox, hit one in my daily not that long ago and the bottom left corner of my bumper is smashed to bits. Lots of gorilla tape on it at the mo.

Sadly I later discovered that Gorilla tape can't fix a dead fox.

Testiment to the build quality and the paint quality I guess. Really did think I was gonna be greeted with a damaged bumper. Amazed it's only the splitter. I still feel bad I could feel it under the car.. Horrible

Mate, thats savage! I hit a couple of birds some time last year, its an awful feeling aint it! At least the car is ok

Aw nasty. I hit a hare that'd been clipped by the car on front. Nothing you can do about it, doesn't make you feel much better though. Fur and blood gets everywhere. 

Conversely, my mate hit a red stag coming round a bend up North and wrote off the stag and his van. He was lucky to walk away from that one tbh. So shame for the fox but just be thankful it wasn't anything bigger.
