Cheers guys for positive comments, means a hell of alot to me because this is going to be my perfect Golf 3 GTI built to the spec i want
anyhow today we got the full loom hooked up, this took a bit of doing as some of the plugs needed swapping over etc and we wanted a factory finish and look in the bay
we had to modify where the wires route, think ben has those pictures so im sure he will upload that lot
we also built up the rest of the engine, we are really close now to finishing this and im so happy.. also happy i dont have to spend much more because its cost ££££ so far
We also got the Intercooler piping sorted - ben did a wicked job of that, perfect!!!,
we flipped the rad on the golf too and modified my slam panel to suit this modification, we did this because the piping on the S3 engine is on the otherside to what my golfs was
My twin rad fan was modified lots to do the mods we wahted and keep a factory look
then we got on with the IC
Here is how the pipes join the cooler:
did loads of other niggly little jobs, tomo we have a couple of plugs to add to the loom and one to extend. boost gauge to fit and induction kit.. Plus new diverter Valve if it arrives
Will also give the engine and box new oil, sparkplugs and other service parts and then we will turn the key and see if it lives
My cat has not arrived from USA yet so im still waiting on that
