How do i fix this?
« on: 11 March 2008, 13:56 »
Its the bottom trim on the passenger side rear wheel, not sure if it has slide along or what? But the bit of metal hanging out the end confuses me? Do i need to pull it off? Or do i need a whole new bit?

Cheers

Looks liek the little plastic trim on the end has come off and the trim itself slid along an inchor so, not sure if you can buy the ends alone.
Id just slide it back along and grab one one of the end bits from a srcappers mate

Yeah those trims just slot in mate, theres bits that stick out running along the back of them trims and the just slot into some groves on the sill, u can pull them on and off all day long if it tickles ya fancy

they look like they are sticking out too far.

take them off and adjust. few screws and should unclip.

Get the end cap from vw along with the rivet that holds it on. Had to buy one for the front of mine and it was a nightmare trying to find it on ETKA after getting the wrong part initially so i'd look for part no's on Vag Cat first to save some time
