I think it looks pretty good, if I were in the market for buying a brand new car (which I wouldn't do again) then I'd consider this once it comes out.  Apparently they're doing a model or two that will p*ss on any of the Golfs

Overall I am a bit disappointed - side profile looks good, but rest of exterior looks a little bit bland to me, and hate to say it - almost has a Mitsubishi Lancer (the model we get in NZ anyway) front to it, and back does not look right either. 

Preferred the look of the concept version a couple of years ago.  Will stick to the GTi I think...

Perhaps it will look better in the flesh?

Just spoken to my dealer and there only getting an allocation of 1 before the end of the year in the 2lt turbo spec. so if you want one this year your gonna have to move quick.
