crap insurerance

just rang the insurerance to ask about putting a new exhaust on my golf and the barstewards wont let me was goner put a milltech cat back on got the cash waiting but no crappy kiwkfit wont have any of it    just had a few quotes through confused and 799 came back id have to pay out at least 800 quid  just for the exhaust mod how stupid is that looks like the standard pipes stoping on till august

go on money supermarket.com i got some well good quotes from there best was sainsburys fully comp for like £290

but wen i get things fitted i dam well no i wont be declaring them till she has been completely done

i.e i will be telling the insurance about her respray as well wont be able to afford to get tht done again

but my car i have now i dont declare anthing - didnt tell them she was lowered had 17;s had an exhaust or tht she was de-catted but wen summit happens i hav never had a problem

and if it was serious id quickly jus put her bak to standard

lets be honest though they dnt always check everything the main things they worry aout are engine mods

and well i have probably saved myself a fortune by not bothering - i foun once i had added parts of body kit and wen somene crashed into the back of it the insurance paid out but because the part wasn standard they wouldnt replace tht bit - but to me tht didnt matter
