A friend of mine wants to buy one of these Polo GTI's...any one had any experience with them?? The dealers here dont "stock" them and there are none around gib so there is no way of finding out.....
Thanks in advance!

i quite like them but the concensus seems to edge more towards the lupo GTI if you can still get them over there

There is ONE registered in Gibraltar but the owner doesnt use or its kept some where....considering they are not available from Factory order either makes it abit harder to get our hands on it....the Polo GTI sounds quite descent i beleive it has the same 1.8T lump from the MK4 GTI but with just abit less hp?? 150hp i think VW have stated

They do look quite 'cute' - a mini Golf GTI! They even get the red 'lipstick' around the grill and mini monzas!

TBH honest I sat in one at the stealers the other day and I wasn't a big fan of the interior or the looks in the flesh, he should get a second hand GTI IMO

I tried selling him mine...told him the price ud pay for a new polo gti, buy my golf and he refused...he said there are none in gib and he really like the polo so...another reason would be the insurance...might be abit more difficult for him

150bhp in a rollerskate aint quick? and they remap them to 210. At GTI International 2006 they had some female touring car driver racing one around the tyre test track.. very impressive.
