LUK, could probs get it cheaper locally. Might be able to get a Sachs with a bit of discount too. But my current one is Sachs and if it is the clutch that has gone, I'd probably try a different one.

Very stange for a Sachs to have such a short life, both Sachs and LUK are really good choices.

Yer, I'm going to try adjusting the cable in a bit.

I went to St Austell (2 hour round trip) with 4 people including me, and I noticed it had got a lot worse by the time I got back. Seems odd that it went very quick from slipping a little in 5th to slipping in 3rd!

Its only when I come on boost too.

Yep they are excellent and I am not the only member to say so, any clutch can slip if given enough abuse or suffer from oil leaking onto it.

Do you ride your clutch, boi?  Could result in accelerated wear on it.

Have you checked underneath for any oil?

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if a lilly-livered little scrote like you rode your clutch.

You're the type for it.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

No I do not ride my clutch, you geriatric f**k. Even so, can't see it wearing out that quick!

Can't see any oil underneath either.
