Wing mounted ariel removal ???

Yo

wanting to whip out the ariel as some kind person has already removed most of it

plan is to remove it and put a gromet i have from the dealer in as a temp fix till i get the late type wings, not putting a B sting on either as i want the NO ariel look, gonna use a window mounted affair

question is how the hell do u get the old ariel out of the wing, i have got it released but only so far and i cannot get it to move anymore, it does however spin around

its bolted to the inner wing and requires removal of the plastic arch for access...

Not a pain really.....but it's will take time to get the arch liner off...I managed to remove one end and slide my hand in to yank the aerial off

thats what ium thinking, if i just get enough clearence to get my hand in, how is it attached inside the wing?  is it a bolt or what??

and it appears it needs to come outwards from the outside is that thw case??

mine came downwords and its attached using a metal strip..thats bolted to the inner wing and i just snipped in the middle mine with pliers to remove
