ive got a spare arch in me gargage so i'll give a few of these suggestions a go and post back on monday

its the longer haul and the water sitting on the treated arch and bumper i'm interested in...alternative i suppose is brand new but then the fitments are usually off aint they?

The water will sit on the back bumper..
if you do a quick wipe (bumper with black polish) it will leave a bit of a streak and leave ur cloth with sme polish...
if you do a quick wipe (oil) it doesnt leave any streak/dry marks etc

I trend to use autoglyms silicone spray..   does quite good job,  not permanent but does last a while...  and is really easy to apply, takes no time..   I use it on everything plastic and the dash !

used kiwi sponge job today. my rear bumper was sooo gray has gone black but went on abit streaky .thinks it needs another coat now its dried in .put it on the girlfriends corsa and went on great and looks well. expensive thou and i bet theres not alot left in the bottle

guys just use peanut butter, works a treat!

so far i have done my wing mirrors and my front too arches (when the weather is a bit warmer ill do the rest! )

just clean and dry the plastic, whach on the peanut butter (i used my hand) and then leave for 15 mins, i wiped it off with a tea towel, you notice the difference straight away

It does not have to be Kiwi, and 1 bottle is about £1 and you can get at least 2 coats out of 1 bottle. So first time you should use 1 bottle (both coats) then every... ohhhhh year or so apply another coat

That's because it's the same as using an oil, bit of a waste imo....

I use that Kiwi sponge applicator thing.  Works really well on my bumpers, but I'm finding my side plastics, the ones on the doors, aren't coming out as well.  I'm lank keen to give the oils a go.  With the weather being constantly hot and sunny here, will have to see what works best.
