had both, a £500 track car vr6 , then a decnt 16v mk3 then a vr6 show car ... no substitute for a vr6 im sorry.... will be as good on juice as a 16v if you drive it steady and noise and power all the way through the rev range not just at the bottom.... the handling aint any worse than a boggo standard 16v which is sh!te as most untouched mk3's are...have a 20vt audi a3 at mo and a vr6 would wipe its A55 bigtime....
