hello everyone. i have loved golfs since i was a kid and my neighbours had a mk1 gti, bought myself a mk2 8v gti in 2006 with 170k on it in bright blue met with orig bbs wheels...i totally fell in love, but being a bit unwise and not a mechanic, after a month of ownership the engine expired (heat seizing) and i was gutted
bought a written off 16v and tried to convert the engine with no sucess. i had to leave it on my drive wasting away until i found some cash..........and then i got laid off
i sold the car for £250 and saw it about a year later and it had undergone a total transformation, g60 lump, single light conv, leather etc. it was mint, but i was still gutted
i have not owned a car since i am working but crap wages are a factor. i AM going to but a golf this year a gti or a gtd if i can find one and i think i have just found the perfect site for it.
