NEED HELP - Fitting FK Lower Vents ...
« on: 14 February 2008, 15:12 »
How the f*ck (sorry for the foul language) do I remove the old vents? I managed to remove the passengers side and its in a million pieces and ive grazed my knuckles and everything ... Dont want to attempt the other side until I find out exactly how their removed ...

Also how the hell do I fit the FK ones? their so hard ... dont want to clip in!?

Any advice regarding this would be appreciated ... thanks.

There is 2 pins that slot into the bumper on the bottom and the top has like a clip i think. I had the same problem. You have to kinda pull the top down and then it comes out. But they are flimsy as you like, so its a bit fiddly. failing that a pair of pliars, lol!

I replaced the drivers side on mine cos it was missing, i seem to recall i layed on floor in front of bumper, passed the grill behind bumper, had the bend the horn a bit to get it past but then it just clipped in bottom then seated nicely into top, took about 5 minutes to fit
