After reading the forums it seems there are two main choices for engine remapping:

Revo or Custom Code

Which would you go (or have you gone) for?

What were the reasons?

Custom Code; had it done about a month ago; smooth from 2K all the way through with no real let up

Custom code for me too.

i read it gave the best throughout the rev range. Though as mine is a N/A it appears to give the most benefit on bottom end torque.

custom code is the way to go.  pulls all the way though the rev range. my mate has revo and it has a big boost mid range and that is it.

ive got custom code, gives a good all round improvement been happy with it for quite a few months now but also getting that urge for something more........

i had a revo remap done a few months ago. car drives like a train, meant to kick out 212bhp but not had it in thr RR doing that sat. feels good but still need more!!!

Would you say it was worth it for the mk4 2.0ltr 8v?

Im considering doing it but will it void my warrantyas i have only just got the car from main dealer?
