Hello there, my mk1's radiator fan has stopped working and also no heat comes outa the heaters, just cold air. both pipes going to heater matrix are hot.
was wondering are these 2 problems linked or is this 2 problems and do you have any ides wat they are?
? Thanks.

if you set the blowers to the footwell/winddscreen do they blow warm or cold?
side vents always blow cold.
if you also use the search function for heaters you may have some luck too. there are lots of little bits of info you'll be abel to find. Remeber to tick the search mk1 board tho as you'll get lots of mk2 info for sure!

care to share the problem with heaters for those who use the search function later?
is it definitely smoke? is something burning in your engine bay? is some lovely mk1 wiring spontaneously combusting?
it definitely isn't dust/muck?

care to tell us what it was?
it will help people who use the search function correctly if a thread is resolved.
