Yup. It is.

Except the Americans call it United Grey, so do the South Africans and so does Gran Turismo 4.

But hey. Its still the same colour

Gaz do you find your car puts the power down better with the Eibach suspension.

Hard to say pal, the suspension was done before the remap, in the dry its mint just a bit of a squeal and its off no problem, in the wet is a different matter, the traction control has a busy time, sayin that it does on a standard car in the wet.
The ECS dogbone insert really helps, best mod goin for less than 30 quid
Gaz is this the insert?

i had something like this in my mk4
MKV Golf GTI Edition30, GIAC Pump&Race Map, AutoTech Fuel Pump, R32 Front Brakes, Dbilas Flo-master Intake, S3 Intercooler.ECS Dog Bone Insert.
MKII GTI 8v Tornado Red 88 - Das Projekt

The other was a neuspeed - both listed on Awesome's pages - http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/vw%20golfmk5/transmission.html

....I've got the Neuspeed torque arm insert (as first pic). The difference is subtle.

what do you mean, subtle? Is that no difference, or there is more engine vibration but better shifts and less engine rotation (as advertised)?

....I mean that on my GTI I find that the difference is difficult to detect - It's reduced an inclination to tramp but I use my right foot especially sensitively as a driver and always do everything to stay away from wheelspin. No difference to engine vibration (I didn't previously feel any). Engine rotation? - I'm not going to do scientific tests!

It's not one of those mods which gets up and grabs your attention. The full set of aftermarket engine mounts would make a difference felt.

I noticed more of an improvement in wheelhop reduction on the regular mk5 than the ED30, but then again there's more to cope with. No significant increase in vibration over stock
Revo stg2+ & lots more

I fitted one to my previous Mk1 Leon Cupra R and it made a noticable difference.  I think with the DSG cars you might not notice it as much as its not like you on/off/on the power during a gear change.

Still worth it IMO.
