Gaz do you find your car puts the power down better with the Eibach suspension.

Hard to say pal, the suspension was done before the remap, in the dry its mint just a bit of a squeal and its off no problem, in the wet is a different matter, the traction control has a busy time, sayin that it does on a standard car in the wet.
The ECS dogbone insert really helps, best mod goin for less than 30 quid

Damper and springs set comes with uprated dampers and springs that lower the car a fixed amount, coilovers also come with uprated dampers and springs but the platform that the spring sits on is adjustable so you can alter the ride height to just how you like it.
Think mines lowered by 25-30mm if I remember rightly, but the coilovers will lower up to 45mm although you'll get rubbing issues that low.
I tried the Eibach Pro-system on my last GTi and was never happy with it as it sat higher at the back and because the mk5 is wedge shaped it made it look daft IMO

Thanks for the kind words

what did you have that lowered by 25mm, the Pro-System?
I want the car body to be parallell to the surface, not having the back stick up. So, what should I have installed, you'd reckon? Eiback coilovers? So, if I install coilovers I do not need to change any springs, right?

Think it was the pro-system and it lowered the front 20mm and the back by 4mm, so wasn't impressed.
Coilovers come with springs on adjustable platforms, so you can have the height where you like within reason.
