2.0 GTi with 6 speed Box ?

u wanna be asking questions mate i think its had a full engine and gearbox mod done, i cant think of any other reason other than that!!!

its possible they put 6 speed boxes on the later ones i suppose, i've never seen one though

99% sure the 2.0 only came in 5 speed. Mines a 2001 2.0 and its 5 speed so no idea what his barking on about. Have you seen the car? Does actually have 6 gears or is it just something his told you?

i've never heard of a 6 speed 2.0 either as far as i knew it was only the 115 BHP, 130 BHP, 150 BHP GT TDI's and the 1.8T 180 that had 6 speed

air con wasn't standard till 2001 or something

my Y reg GTi has aircon but its petrol. id say its a TDi as there is more chance of that. be good if it could be fitted to save on petrol

My 2.0 has got a 5speed gearbox aircon and no suroof, sounds a bit iffy to me but never know it could be genuine

im comfuzed. i have aircon/climate control and a sunroof. it seems most people have one or the other?

My understanding is they are all extras, so depends what boxes the person ticked when bought from new.

Certainly a 6 speed option was not there. I think his just talking out his bum or got his model mixed up.
