According to the register, there are only 75 people registered and one of those is in New Zealand and another has registered twice.

Not bad when you consider that there are 95 for sale on Autotrader

In all honesty I think a lot of the dealers bought into the "1500 cars" line.
After the last anni car, which was limited and those limits honoured, what reason would they have to think otherwise.

I suspect that VW are actually the ones who will be to blame... They're the ones making them.

The dealers themselves will only get a handful each, and then each salesman will sell a subset of that.

ED 30 ... Best car I've had yet.....

3 door Steel Grey ED 30 GTI rear tints, IPOD connection, parking sensors, Lux pack 1, auto dip/fold mirrors...

In that case I'll wait until 2015 for the Edition 38 model. Now that would be a well modded car

Thinking about it...1500 is quite a lot...in the US of A...the R32 is limited to 5000...but do you really think they will sell 5000 before the next R is out??

So, does this mean that all of the customers who bought into the "1500 only sir"...."will hold its value better because of it sir"....."ooooh, suits you sir!"  will have any grounds for going back to the dealer to get some kind of compensation?

MMM where was that VW Pdf that someone posted saying that the numbers were limited to 1500 units. Where is my solicitors phone number.......

My bloody sentiments exactly! Feel a wee letter to Crydon is on it's way - fat load of use it will do but still - this is not good For value retention.
I have noted as well the new £19.5k imports in Right hand drive - where does this put the value / rarity of the car? This equals VW at it and rather blatantly in mind - all premeditated hence the no number plaque decisions!
